Manchester City Offer Inter Robinho As Part Of Mario Balotelli Deal.

Manchester City are trying to lure Inter into accepting their latest offer for Mario Balotelli by adding Robinho as part of the deal. Tuttosport reports City are hopeful of obtaining a discount by reducing their initial €30 million plus bonuses bid to €26m plus bonuses. Negotiations continued late into Friday and the result was a new meeting scheduled for Monday as confirmed by Nerazzurri chief Massimo Moratti as he considers the skimmed offer. "Negotiations will continue on Monday," he said. And City are ready to offer Robinho on a loan agreement as part of the transfer so they can meet Inter in between the €26m offer and €30m demand. They hope that incentive will bridge the gap and entice Inter into accepting a deal. The Nerazzurri want cash, but having the Brazilian is appealing in Milan. Robinho's arrival would not affect the club's non-EU quota and he could be a key addition to Rafael Benitez's squad. Balotelli has already agreed a five-year, €3.5m per annum contract with the Citizens. All that remains is for the clubs to agree on the transfer fee. That is likely to happen on Monday, with Robinho acting as a makeweight in the deal as he brings the clubs closer to blowing a whistle on the move.
